A day after Yahoo announced that they will be offering unlimited storage for it's e-mail users, they've announced that they are opening up the Yahoo mail API - to let developers write programs that interact with Yahoo mail ( http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,130243-pg,1/article.html).  To top that, they say they will give $10 US to the developer for every new Yahoo mail account created as a result of the developer's tool interaction with Yahoo!
Wish I had time to write the backup software I mentioned below....
